Vision Board
In issue 335, we talked about visualizing and now we are going to take it a step further by turning our vision into a vision board. Some people are able to retain things better when they write them down and see them on paper. A vision board is simply pictures or drawings of your personal or career goals and desires.
Ideas for your vision board.
Vision boards can be made on poster board, chalk board, or any type of paper. Put a positive affirmation on top of your board and build from there. Magazines pictures or words, photos of yourself or others, pictures of places you will travel, your future achievements, quotes, affirmations, etc. this becomes your collage. At anytime you can add or remove items from it. Place your vision board in a conspicuous place.
4 benefits of having your own vision board.
1. Its fun
2. It motivates
3. It stretches us
4. It works!
Exercise
This week I invite you to spend 15 minutes or longer on the following:
1. Create your own vision board. Have fun with it, be playful, be daring, and make it colorful! There is no right or wrong way.
2. As you observe your vision board throughout the week, how are you impacted?
I look forward to hearing from you and seeing your vision board if you'd like to email or text me a picture. I am trained to assist you in achieving your goals through the use of vision boards. Please call me and we can discuss 816-213-0125.
