(Setting Short Term Goals)

Please feel free to forward "Marvelous Mondays" to others who will enjoy it.

HOLIDAY PLANNING

What Is Your Plan for the Holidays?

1. Preparing for guests, a trip, meal preparations
2. Selecting gifts
3. Religious and family traditions
4. Trips to the grocery store

5. Budgeting for some of the above

On top of that, there is the usual running of a business or a household.

It's no wonder, then, people report a high degree of "stress" during the holidays.

EXERCISE

This week I invite you to consider the following:

  1. Set realizable (yet flexible) short-term goals. This week what are the two most important things that you can accomplish?
  2. Delegate or maybe eliminate one task that has become more a drudgery than a meaningful tradition.

  3. Consider prioritizing your invitations and consider saying "no" to some.

  4. Notice moments in time that you could relax or read.
