MARVELOUS MONDAYS

July 29, 2013 - Issue 236

Manifest Your Dreams

This is the sixth in a series on Gratitude

In prior issues we discussed the benefits of stating our gratitude for the past
and present.  Today we look at a different statement of gratitude-statements
of the future.

Dear ,

Welcome to Issue 236.  The mission of "Marvelous Mondays" is to offer an inspirational thought, a practical exercise, some humor, or a simple tip to jump-start your week and to enhance your life, business, outlook or relationships.

Please feel free to forward "Marvelous Mondays" to others who will enjoy it.

MANIFESTING A GRATITUDE STATEMENT OF THE FUTURE

In her "Eight to Great" book MK Mueller recommends a daily gratitude for the future, also known as manifesting.  The idea is to declare that a specific dream or lofty goal will be coming your way and to express gratitude because it's already happening.

In my coaching practice, I refer to this as "standing in the future for my coaching clients" because I already see their results and their success.

POSITIVE LANGUAGE

Always stay in positive language when declaring and manifesting your gratitude for the future.  Focus on specific things you want rather than things you don't want or don't have. E.g. "I am grateful for my blood pressure being 115/75", rather than saying "I really need to reduce my blood pressure."

THE 6 STEPS

  1. Think about the success you are manifesting and your gratitude.
  2. Write down the success you manifested and your gratitude.  (Blue ink on white paper is recommended)
  3. Read your manifest.
  4. Declare your manifest by verbalizing it confidently to yourself.
  5. Verbalize your gratitude with another person.
  6. Exhibit strategically your manifestation on your bathroom mirror, your car, your work area at home or at your home/office.
EXERCISE

This week I invite you to do the following:

  1. Manifest one dream, one big goal, or one big achievement that will come into fruition.
  2. Imagine and experience what that is already feeling like.
  3.  Write it down.
  4. Declare it out loud with confidence.
  5. You may repeat this exercise on a daily basis.

I really want to hear from you.  I will listen to you, I regularly coach people on how to manifest their dreams.  Invest in yourself.  You are worth it!  Just pick up the phone and call me.
