Bob and Brent Laing have expanded their service by opening a new store and service center in Roseburg. They will continue to grow the service reach of their Industrial Source, Cryo Source, and National Fire Fighter brands.... "The family-owned business, which started in 1945 in Eugene, opened its seventh sales and distribution center a week ago at 325 E. Happy Valley Road in the Green area. The 10,000-square-foot building was formerly the home of United Pipe & Supply.
There will actually be two businesses under the same roof. National Fire Fighter Corp., Industrial Source's sister company, will operate at that address.
Industrial Source is a producer and supplier of medical and specialty gases, and welding and metal fabrication products. National Fire Fighter Corp. offers fire safety and suppression products.
David Ficker, the manager of the Eugene store, will split his time and manage the Roseburg store on an interim basis. Five full-time employees have been hired at the Roseburg store.
"A lot of customers from Roseburg were calling us in Eugene and asking us to service them down there," Ficker said. "We're very excited about it."
The hours of the two new businesses are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
They can be contacted by calling 541-236-2812. More information can be obtained online at industrialsource.com or nationalfirefighter.com."
