Thank You

Church School Teachers

2012-2013

The mediocre teacher tells.

The good teacher explains.

The superior teacher demonstrates.

The great teacher inspires.

~William Arthur Ward

Northside Drive is not only a church that loves to learn, it is a church that desires to teach. The teachers, community leaders, and volunteers for Church School and Children's Choir reveal that Northside Drive truly has great and inspirational people. The congregation, staff, and leadership thank you for your long hours spent in preparation, prayer, and practice.

Touching Taliaferro with LoveTTWL
Book Bags for TTWL

Remember the excitement of starting the school year with a new book bag? The children who are part of Touching Taliaferro with Love start their school year in early July and Northside Drive will help them begin with the supplies needed for a successful year. A couple of years ago, through the generosity of a Northside Drive family, each child at Taliaferro was given a new book bag. The gift brought squeals of delight from all the children.

Let's delight another group of 1st-6thgraders with new book bags this summer. Collection bins will be available in the Narthex through June 9. Questions? Contact Susan Harlan or Barbara Atchley.

Prayer Shawl Ministryshawl

Come join us on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7 PM, in Room #207, the Parlor, to knit or crochet a prayer shawl. If you are not sure how, no problem, there will be plenty of people to help you get started. This group is open to anyone who would like to join! For more information call Susan Harlan at 770-377-3869.
