A portion of Euclid Avenue is about to get a new name - James A. Garfield Way - in honor of the 20th president of the United States. A public ceremony and reception will take place on Monday, July 18, at 1:30 p.m. at Lake View Cemetery. All are welcome to attend. Tours of the Garfield Memorial will immediately follow.

New Mural on University East Building

University Circle Inc. and Waterloo Arts recently collaborated on a new mural on the University East Building at the corner of Euclid Avenue and Mayfield Road. The mural was designed by artist Eric Burke, who also has a mural in Ohio City, and depicts 16 colorfully painted windows reflecting the art and culture of the neighborhood.
