Bring your family and friends to Wade Oval on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-9:00 p.m. to enjoy Son Gitano (August 5), The Soul Men (August 12), That 80’s Band (August 19), and Ohio Weather Band (August 26). August 5 is Healthy Night at WOW, sponsored by University Hospitals and the Cleveland Clinic. Stop by for free health screenings during the concert.   Little Italy-University Circle Rapid Station to Open

RTA's new $17.5 million Little Italy-University Circle Station on the Red Line is slated to open on Tuesday, August 11. The new station, located at Mayfield Road and E. 119th Street, will replace the current station on Euclid Avenue and E. 120th Street. The completion of this long-awaited project will give residents, employees, and visitors a new and easy way to travel to one of the area's largest employment centers and tourist destinations. The resurfacing of East Boulevard in University Circle has started between E. 105th Street and Euclid Avenue. One-way southbound traffic will be maintained during construction. Thursday nights are about to get more fun with the return of The Beat UPTOWN. This free concert series, running Thursday nights through August 27 from 6:00-9:00 p.m., will feature musical genres as diverse as Punk, Indie Rock, and Hillbilly Music. Forget the hassle of purchasing, storing, and maintaining a bike. Thanks to Zagster public bike sharing, Cleveland residents are enjoying trouble-free rides all over town. Last month, a new location with five Zagster bikes launched at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
