The Non-profit of the Year Award honors organizations that are innovating community solutions and meeting local needs and opportunities with distinction.       Photo by Downie Photography   East Boulevard Construction Begins in University Circle ODOT has begun the first phase of resurfacing East Boulevard in University Circle and in adjacent neighborhoods. Construction has started between St. Clair Avenue and Superior Avenue. For the latest information on timelines and detours, click here.         Clean and Safe Ambassador Service Coming to University Circle University Circle Inc. is partnering with the Downtown Cleveland Alliance and Block by Block to bring the Clean and Safe Ambassador Service to University Circle. Beginning July 6, the ambassadors will begin visitor concierge services, trash pick-up, graffiti removal, and more.       Photo by Downie Photography   Uptown Development Receives National Recognition Uptown, University Circle’s dining and entertainment district, was recently named a runner-up for the 2015 Rudy Bruner Award for Urban Excellence. The award recognizes urban developments that positively impact their neighborhoods.         Opportunity Corridor Update East 105th Street is now closed in both directions between Cedar Avenue and Quebec Avenue until about mid-October 2015. Motorists will be detoured via the newly repaved East 100th Street.
