It's an exciting time in University Circle as another world-class museum undergoes a transformation. This spring, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History will begin construction on a $150 million expansion and renovation project. Changes will include a new parking garage, expanded interior exhibit gallery space, and a new and relocated outdoor Perkins Wildlife Center. To read more about the project, click here.

Jason Vieaux, head of the Guitar department at the Cleveland Institute of Music is now a 2015 GRAMMY Award winner! Vieaux recently earned the award for Best Classical Instrumental Solo for his album PLAY on the Azica label. The album was produced by CIM alumnus and Director of Recording Arts and Services Alan Bise and was engineered by CIM faculty member Bruce Egre. Coté's exhibit includes mixed media objects with projected video loops, kinetic elements, sound and photographs to create an installation resembling the experimental equipment of a "strange laboratory." Powers is developing an exhibition of new modular motion and sound based sculptures that reference the rural Indiana landscape of his youth and the agrarian machinery used to cultivate and control it.
