WOW! Wade Oval Wednesdays
Weekends begin on Wednesdays this July as WOW! continues with a great lineup of bands, fun intermission acts, food & drink, a movie night, and activities for the kids. Stop by for Carlos Jones and the P.L.U.S. Band on July 2, Nick Tolford & Company on July 9, Afterthought & the Nusoul Band on July 16, Jah Messengers Reggae Band on July 23, and Son Gitano on July 30. WOW's theme nights this July include "Cleveland's Birthday," "Healthy Night," and more! After the concert on July 9, stick around for a movie under the stars, featuring the animated hit, Frozen. Fun in Rockefeller Park
This July, Rockefeller Park will host two free, fun, family-friendly events! The 13th Annual Family Fishing Day will take place on Saturday, July 12, from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Learn to fish for bluegill, bass, catfish (and prizes) in the specially stocked lagoon with provided bait and tackle. Save-the-Date: GG9 — The 2014 Gay Games
Mark your calendars! One of the most anticipated events of the year, the 2014 Gay Games, will take place from August 9-16. The Games are open to all adults - regardless of sexual orientation or athletic ability. With more than 35 sports (from darts to triathlon, bowling to softball) and 2 cultural events (band and chorus), there's something for everybody. Many events will take place in University Circle!
