  2013 UCI Golf Outing - Chippin' In for Our Cops

Come and celebrate summer's close on August 29 with a full day of golf, food, friends, and raffles! The 7th annual Golf Outing benefits the University Circle Police Department, which supports the growth of University Circle as a premier, urban district. Shop fresh and shop local at the North Union Farmers' Market at University Hospitals. The market is open Thursdays through October 3 from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Stop by for fresh grown produce, dairy and meat products, honey and maple syrup. Have you noticed the pianos around University Circle? They're part of an interactive art installation called Play Me, I'm Yours. Everyone is welcome to sit down at a piano and play!   Celebrate the Annual Community Salute to Veterans, Classic Car Show, and Rib Burnoff

This year's annual Community Salute to Veterans, Classic Car Show, and Rib Burnoff will take place on Saturday, August 3 from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. along Magnolia Drive in University Circle. Free and open to the public, the event features a ceremony with local dignitaries, live entertainment, classic cars, community booths, and children's games, plus a centerpiece of the festival, the food including ribs and side dishes. Each year, the Community Festival honors a local veteran for his or her dedication to the community and country. The 2013 Festival Honoree is Congressman Louis Stokes.
