The March 21 workshop, Financial Management, provides a basic financial management overview with an emphasis on the importance of the profit & loss statement, calculating the overhead factor, understanding the break-even analysis, and efficient cash flow management. Participants can choose between a 1-mile or a 2-mile walk. The suggested donation is $10 per mile (donation is tax deductible). For more information or to register for the event, click here.         Join the American Cancer Society's Cancer Prevention Study - 3 Join the movement for more birthdays and fight back against cancer by enrolling in a new research study called the Cancer Prevention Study - 3 (CPS-3). The American Cancer Society's Epidemiology Research Program is inviting men and women between the ages of 30 and 65 years who have no personal history of cancer to join this historic research study. The ultimate goal is to enroll at least 300,000 adults from various racial/ethnic backgrounds from across the U.S. By joining CPS-3, you can help the American Cancer Society understand how to prevent cancer, which will save lives and give people more of their most precious resource: time.
