President's Message
The holidays are upon us! I can't believe this will be my final meeting as President of PRSA Gulf Coast Chapter before I turn over the reigns in January to a tremendous new leader, Donna Heiser, APR.
It has been my honor and privilege to serve as President beside this outstanding and talented board of directors, and engaged, supportive membership. I truly could not have managed my role with out you. Thanks are also due to our community leaders in the business, economic development and nonprofit sectors for your dedicated participation. You are invaluable!. The 2014 board of directors is a stellar group of professionals comprised of both current and new faces, resulting in an ideal mix of veteran wisdom and fresh, exciting ideas!

We are holding a festive holiday luncheon on Tuesday, December 10th at The Hilton Naples. Evening calendars are so busy, we decided to hold a luncheon to better accommodate your schedule. Please join us as we visit with friends and colleagues and wrap up a wonderful year!
 GRACE PLACE
Early in the year, the board of directors of PRSA selected Grace Place as our 2013 pro bono nonprofit partner. Grace Place is a Naples-based nonprofit organization serving residents of the Golden Gate community - teaching literacy, language and life skills. It was our honor to work with the team of Grace Place while they worked through their new branding and communications initiative. Executive Director, Stephanie Munz Campbell will be with us to provide a brief overview of where they started at the beginning of the year and what changes or improvements they've implemented to date - in response to the ever evolving modes of outreach necessary to reach their key stakeholders.
 A book drive will be held for the children of Grace Place during the luncheon. We'll be happy to collect the books and send them home with Stephanie. This is strictly voluntary, so if inclined, please bring new or gently used books to donate to Grace Place: - Board Books for Toddlers

Donna C. Heiser, APR is our President for 2014. She is a graduate of Rosemont College (Villanova, Pennsylvania). Donna Heiser joined Ave Maria School of Law as their Chief Advancement and Communications Officer in December 2012. At Ave Maria, she oversees the Law School's advancement and external affairs departments, leading to increased connectivity and philanthropic support for the institution. Donna is responsible for leadership gifts, annual giving, donor relations and cultivation, development communications, key engagement programs and events, and the grant writing program.
