Rally Day is (Almost) Here!
New Program Year Begins Sunday, September 14
Rally Day celebrates the start of St. Peter's program year and provides an opportunity to get to know one another, to learn about parish ministries, and to hear about opportunities in Christian education and fellowship. Rally Day is a new part of the life and mission of St. Peter's as we "rally" together for a new year of study, worship, service and for becoming God's people in Lakeview. It is a wonderful opportunity to open the doors of St. Peter's to the community with an invitation to participate in the vibrant life of this parish.

Come for a festive day of food, fun, and fellowship including a Hospitality Hour before the 11:00 A.M. service and a Ministry Fair and extended Coffee Hour after the service outside the Parish House. This is a rain or shine event. If it appears that it will rain on Sunday the 14th, the Hospitality Hour and Ministry Fair will be in the Narthex.
What is God Calling Me To Do?
Saturday, September 20 at 10:00 A.M.
Spiritual discernment is the process of listening for and responding to God's voice as you make decisions throughout your life. It is the essential link between prayer and action. Relationships, career choices, vocations, priorities and goals are just some of the subjects that call for discernment.

This interactive workshop led by the Rev. Patt Moser will explore time-honored ways to open your heart to hear God's voice and connect the invitation you hear and the gifts you possess with God's mission in the world.

Coffee and Danish begin at 9:30 A.M. Workshop begins at 10:00 A.M. Pre-register by emailing [email protected].

New Sunday Worship Offering
Dinner Eucharist at 5:00 P.M. the 2nd Sunday each Month
Rooted in the patterns of the early church, the Dinner Eucharist is a gathering where participants share a common meal and in the sacred meal--the Holy Eucharist. We eat a simple meal together, explore Scripture and discuss its meaning for our lives, offer prayers, sing, and gather around the Table for Holy Communion.

The Dinner Eucharist meets on the 2nd Sunday of each month in the Guild Room, and lasts approximately one hour. The service and music is informal, yet set within the pattern of the ancient liturgy of the church and the Book of Common Prayer. This service will serve especially those who work on Sunday mornings, have been out of town over the weekend, those unfamiliar with Christianity, or those who have been out of the church for some time.

The meal for the September 14 Dinner Eucharist will be provided; afterwards we'll be looking for volunteers to help with set up and clean up, and the meal will be potluck. If you have questions or wish to volunteer to serve on the coordinating team, please contact Fr. Steve or Zakary.
