The Buzz: Articles for Every Gardener
Make Old, NEW!
Sometimes gardening containers can be fragile. Instead of throwing them away, make them into something new. Be a good steward of your resources and re-purpose those clay pots. Try a few of these ideas.

Plant Markers
Mark your plantings with labeled clay shards sunk into the ground.

House a Toad
Get yourself some free pest control by creating a cool, moist place for one of these amphibians to call home. Locate a shady spot where insects are a nuisance, then set up your shelter. Kids especially find it fun to see if any guests have arrived.

And of course...
Create a Mini Garden
Use your broken pots as a framework for a miniature garden. Simply arrange smaller pieces within a larger piece. This is a great way to plant succulents or create a cute fairy garden.
