Archdeaconry Synod in Britany
Dani Carew & Samantha Stirling, our Archdeaconry Synod delegates, join Father Walter in attending the annual meeting or Synod for the Archdeaconry of France taking place this week, 18-21 May, at the Abbaye in Saint Jacut de la mer, in Brittany. More than 100 Anglicans attend the annual Archdeaconry Synod, representing congregations and chaplaincies throughout France.

The theme for this year's Synod is "Migration". Speakers representing various aspects of this highly topical and important area of concern will make presentations to the Synod. Other presenters at Synod include, Mgr Robert Le Gall OSB, Archbishop of Toulouse, who will discuss the French ARC (Anglican Roman-Catholic Conversation); and the Revd Dr Richard Briggs, Director of Biblical Studies at Cranmer Hall, Durham, who will lead the daily Bible Studies.

Because Father Walter will be away, there will be no Wednesday evening service of Healing Prayer and Holy Communion this week (18 May), the service returns next week (25 May).
