Christmas Eve Christingle
Christmas Eve Christingle 2015
The annual celebration of the children's Christingle service has become a much loved and very popular Christmas Eve event at Saint Paul's. Children accompanied by parents and grandparents take great delight in this simple ceremony that includes a procession around the church with the Baby Jesus, placing him in his manger bed in the Saint Paul's Crèche.

The work party crew ... O come let us adore Him ...
The service concludes with the lighting of the candied Christingle oranges, symbolic of the bright light of Christ reaching out to the four corners of the globe.  Singing "Gloria in excelsis Deo", we carry out the bright light of our Christian Hope flowing forth from our celebration of Christmas and spreading in loving charity all around the world.

The Christmas light carried out into the world ...
