World War I Remembered on 3rd August at Saint Paul's
On 4th August 1914, Great Britain declared war on Germany and with this declaration the United Kingdom and the British Empire became engaged in the "war to end all wars" which, in retrospect, remains one of the costliest conflicts in the history of human kind.
On Sunday 3rd August at our 10:30 service, the community of Saint Paul's Anglican Church will pause to remember the sacrifice of the many fallen -- military and civilian -- in World War I. Traditional hymns will be sung, prayers offered, the 2 minutes of silence will be observed and followed by the singing of the British National Anthem.

The new Confirmation Group has begun to prepare!
Bishop David Hamid, our Suffragan (auxiliary) Bishop in Europe, will visit the Principality on 7th December this year to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation at Saint Paul's Church.
Some of our young people have already begun preparations for Confirmation but it's not too late for others to join the group.
Work begins with the e-book resource "My Confirmation Journal" by Debbie Repp, available in e-book or in print edition, which the Confirmation students undertake to complete over the summer break. Click here for information about this e-book from amazon.co.uk (Please note: this e-book can be ordered through any of the amazon sites.)
Adults who have never been Confirmed are also welcome to prepare for Confirmation at Saint Paul's. Father Walter will meet with interested adults, assign some reading and lead discussion about our faith.
Click here for the Confirmation Registration form. Kindly complete this to register for the Confirmation at Saint Paul's. For more information, contact Father Walter at walter@monaco.mc or 93.30.71.06

Stars'n'Bars organised its annual 4th of July street party in the Port of Monaco with over a thousand attending. Saint Paul's Sunday Club leader, Jonny Richardson and his kids pictured here, enjoyed the mechanical "wild bull ride" in particular.
