Happy Holidays!

December 2012

Greetings!

Women's Recovery Network wishes you a happy healthy holiday season filled with joy and meaning.
Recover. Restore. Rebuild.
TRN

People's behaviors are influenced by environmental factors. For instance, addicts in the recovery stage and living in a sober, drug-free, and supportive environment feel that they have more control over their environment may be an option for you.  Sober living or intensive out patient treatment can assist and improve your chances of recovery.  Holidays for some people are a tough time.

Being in a supportive environment

Modeling helps shape positive, sober, and drug-free behavior in addicts. For instance, addicts in their recovery stage may emulate a sponsor modeling healthy recovery behavior. This sponsor will demonstrate to the newly recovering individual how to implement certain recovery steps and tools into his or her life to develop stronger relapse prevention strategies. Moreover, by watching the sponsor, the newly recovering person will begin using the recovery slogans and resources used by his or her sponsor.

Total Recovery Now encourages you to develop supports and attend various self help programs.

Our highly trained therapist utilize therapy approaches such as CBT, Matrix and Kelly models of treatment. These models highlight the powerful link between what a person thinks about himself or herself or a situation, how this affects what he or she feels physically and emotionally, and how he or she behaves in that situation. In short, it educates alcohol- or drug-dependent individuals to change the way they think about their substance abuse and to learn new ways to cope with the situations and circumstances that led to their drinking or taking drugs in the past.

Let us help you begin your journey and live a substance free lifestyle. Embrace life call TRN at 561.822.3620 or visit www.totalrecoverynow.com.

The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on a wide range of issues related to alcoholism, including prevention, treatment, research, public education, and creating awareness of alcoholism problems in the nation's work world.
