We are pleased to introduce the Codeware Interface, a bridge between COMPRESS® and Autodesk Inventor® or SolidWorks®. Design data can now be transferred to either software package along with the COMPRESS solid model. Once your COMPRESS design has been imported, use Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks to quickly: - Prepare high quality drawings using styles that you control
- Create a bill of materials (BOM)
- Perform further analysis of the model
How does the Codeware Interface work? The Codeware Interface is an add-in to either Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks. Once installed, it imports the 3D solid model geometry and design details from your COMPRESS file. Unlike legacy 2D data transfer solutions, the Codeware Interface supports the new 3D solid modeling tools. This gives you greater control over how you use your model.
