Parents: Send your child to class in the appropriate dress and hair code!
You do not want your teachers spending time fixing hair or asking kids to stop messing with it. You wouldn't send a soccer player out on the field without shin guards- or a swimmer to the pool in jeans and a t-shirt... Learning the correct attire and hair is part of the discipline you want your child to learn- SUPPORT US by reinforcing this. It is 100% true that the class takes their studies more seriously when they are dressed correctly and hair is in a bun- or secured tightly. The entire discipline of a class can be effected by these things- that is WHY we ask for them! To view our dress code, click here.

Recital Choreography
Our dance classes are hard at work learning recital choreography. At LPAA we believe it is most important to teach students to dance, not just learn "a dance". For this reason our faculty will continue to focus on teaching technique and skill development in addition to recital choreography. Please encourage your child to practice his/her dances at home and avoid absences. Both consistent attendance and home practice are vital to children's confidence on stage! If you'd like a copy of your child's recital music, please bring one blank CD labeled with you child's name and drop it off at the front desk. We will record the music and let you know when its ready.
