As we approach Thanksgiving we want to thank all of our students and parents for their loyalty and continued support!  We are extremely grateful to have so many wonderful families enrolled and thank you for choosing LoMastro for your child's performing arts education!
Thanksgiving Break Reminder
As a reminder, no classes will be held from November 25 - December 1, due to the Thanksgiving holiday.  Classes will resume Monday, December 2.
It's a Boy!
On November 3, at 6:26 am, our director "Ms Loren" gave birth to a beautiful baby boy.  Leo Brian was 6 lbs.13 ozs. at birth.  Loren will be focusing on family for the next several weeks.  So, please direct all questions to Wendy at office@lpaastaff.com.


Calling all 1st-5th graders
Join Our Broadway Bound Classes Beginning February 5
Bella Griffith
(Bwy Bound 2013)
Do you like to sing and dance?  This high energy, fast paced performance class will knock your socks off with fun!  Repertoire includes Broadway show- tunes, and contemporary pop songs. Students will learn proper breathing, posture, and vocal technique as well as choreography. The majority of class time will be spent rehearsing music, choreography and staging of the musical revue which will be performed at the LPAA Recital in June. This is great training for students who wish to perform in musical theatre productions!  Directed by Julie Crossen and Laural Reinhart.  Learn more!
  • Broadway Bound I (1st-3rd Gr.):  Tuesdays 4:50-5:50 PM
  • Broadway Bound II (3rd-5th Gr.):  Tuesdays 5:10-6:10 PM

See our Dance Company Perform in MOVE Dance Concert
Get Tickets to see our Dance Company perform in MOVE at Vernon Hills High School Theatre on 11/10 at 3:30 PM. Our Next Step piece "Don't Judge Me" and Senior Jazz piece "Timeless" will be featured in this dance concert - come support our dancers!  The concert will feature an exciting mix of professional and future professional dancers come together and make you want to MOVE! 



Upcoming River North Dance Chicago Performance
Featuring faculty member Hank Hunter

Get tickets to see faculty member Hank Hunter perform in River North Dance Chicago's Fall Engagement at the Harris Theatre. 

Hank currently teaches Contemporary-Modern and Ballet on Thursday nights.

  

HANK HUNTER hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and has been dancing since he was seven years old. While growing up, he attended programs such as Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School, LINES Ballet Summer Program, Paul Taylor Dance Company Scholarship Intensive, Point Park University's International Summer Dance, and many conventions and competitions. He graduated with a BFA in dance with a jazz concentration at Point Park University, where he had the privilege of performing pieces by Ohad Naharin, David Parsons, Gerald Arpino, Val Caniparoli, George Balanchine, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Gina Patterson, Kiesha Lalama-White, Doug Bentz, and others. While in the Pittsburgh area, he danced with Texture Contemporary Ballet, under the direction of Alan Obuzor and Kelsey Bartman. He currently resides in Chicago where he dances with River North Dance Chicago.
