While watching last night's evening news, I was struck by the continued, over-the-top coverage of actor George Clooney's wedding in Venice. The fact that I even know that a) George Clooney got married, and b) that George Clooney got married in Venice is troubling to me. It's troubling because there's so much more happening in the world right now. It's troubling because the media is obsessed with feeding our celebrity obsession...
