Community Chanukah Party

Candlelighting, Crafts, Latkes, Music and More !

The Beit Rabban community celebrated Chanukah with music, dancing, games and crafts. Rabbi Alan led the candlelighting ceremony as the children sang, spun like dreidels and enjoyed traditional treats, like latkes and donuts, prepared by our own Chef Michel.  A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR BEIT RABBAN PARENTS ASSOCIATION for coordinating this lovely event, and to CHEF MICHEL for all the wonderful goodies.

Torah Reading Ceremony Torah

Wednesday, Dec. 19, 8:45-11:00 AM

We joyously invite you to our annual Torah Reading Ceremony, a community-wide event to celebrate the commencement of formal Chumash study for our second grade Shtillim students.

Roni Cohen, Ami Dube, Aviyah Har-Even, Amichai Mackerras, Sadie Mank, Noam Medjuck-Bruckner, Emily Schnipper, Asher Sigman-Wender and Ollala Levi will read from the Torah in the historical main sanctuary of the Spanish Portuguese Synagogue on Wednesday, December 19 at 8:45-11:00 AM.  Please feel free to invite grandparents and friends to get a feel for the ethos of Beit Rabban.

A Great Miracle Happened Here

Gan Tzahov students rehearsed for their performance of "Ner Li, Ner Li" (My Candle, My Candle) at the annual Gan Chanukah party.  The children are arranged like the candles on a Chanukiah.
