How to Add a SlideShare to your LinkedIn Profile

Have you ever noticed that some people have images and slideshows right in their LinkedIn profile? One of my students once commented that she felt that people who had images in their profiles not only attracted more attention but that they also seemed 'more professional'. While I am not sure if that is the case for everyone, I DO agree that profiles with images definitely garner more attention.
Slideshare is one tool you can use to display presentations, a portfolio of artwork, images and/or reports in your LinkedIn profile. And by hosting your content on Slideshare, it is set-up for easy social sharing (there are share buttons as well as info to facilitate linking to the content and embedding it) and it will be formatted to allow for easy viewing on any browser.
