Why is that when the holidays come around, all of a sudden we make it 'okay' to binge on sugary snacks, and fatty foods? We throw caution to the wind and chuck it up to 'oh it is the holidays', so it must therefore be okay to splurge?
Fighting the fat bulge during this time of the year can be a most difficult one. But it doesn't have to be this way. Choose to eat clean as best as you can because you know that a chocolate or two is just a momentary pleasure. But in the end, it is truly the way your jeans fit that makes you the happiest.
The best way to avoid gaining weight over the holidays is to eat in moderation, keep a consistent exercise program and move as much as you can to avoid holiday weight gain.
