Greetings!
Rice donated by Stop Hunger Now (1,000 buckets - 150,000 meals) and 24 pallets of clothing, shoes, blankets, computer equipment, etc. was delivered to Travis on Tuesday. They will be on their way to Afghanistan soon. Again it was amazing how many attended our packing party on June 8th, how hard everyone worked, and how quickly we were done. We're getting good at this. Got to love compulsive packers. They don't rest or eat! A little water and access to a restroom is all they need. The number of volunteers and donations grow with every packing party. Others may be winding down their assistance in Afghanistan. We're not!.

Now for the good news! We will pack again in October.
And the bad? My porch is closed for the summer to everything except mylar. It needs a vacation as does its designated driver.
