The state of race in America is at its best & worst of times

The plight of successful Blacks should be to reach back to help those left behind

It shouldn't surprise us how much of a difference one person can make

This is why I consider President Obama Jesus-like, for goodness sake

The percentage of Black children at or beneath poverty in 2014 is the same as in 1968If education is indeed the great equalizer, then free Pre-K & 2 year college can't wait

Racism has deep roots in the US & has reared its ugly head towards the President

We stop voting during the midterm elections allowing Republicans an opportunity to vent 

Since Obama took office, 22 states have added new voting restrictions

The Republicans will say or try anything to satisfy their power addictions

Blacks have only gained 1 seat in Congress since Obama took over the White House

This was our time to fix the old America but we've been quiet as a mouse

Blacks are wary of policing, dispirited about education & confounded about a job

Negros before you who fought for your voting rights were beaten & hung by a lynch mob

Blacks are surviving 250 years of slavery, 100 years of Jim Crow & 50 years of Civil Rights

Since 1989 Blacks have represented 68% of DNA exonerations in the US; 29% for Whites

From 2010-2012, Black males between 15 & 19 were 21 times as likely to be killed by cops

We only spend 3% of our money with Black businesses in our hood we call mom & pops    

Blacks lost $194 billion from 2009-2012 to homeowner crisis & property depreciation

Black men are still last in receiving wage increase, promotions or to hear Congratulations!

Only 68% of Black kids graduate from high school & only 15% get a GED

Before we can become the new Black, we must help the President fight the GOP

The GOP would rather shut down Homeland Security than let 10 million immigrants stay

It's the lack of focus on politics that have Blacks on their knees praying everyday
