Sep 29- Oct 4: YYCComedy Festival
Six days of belly busting laugher from Canadian and International comedic talent performing in various locations across Calgary.
Must see shows include "Calgary Stand-up All-Stars" October 3rd, and the ridiculously funny YYComedy GALA on October 4th.
Hockey Season is Underway
Take a trip to the Saddledome to see the Calgary Flames play the Vancouver Canucks on Oct 8th. Find the entire season schedule here.
Oct 11-13: Thanksgiving at Heritage Park
Enjoy Calgary's Heritage Village for the last time this season. Partake in Thanksgiving activities, have a free pancake breakfast each morning if you are one of the first 500 there, and feast on an optional Thanksgiving meal at the Wainwright Hotel. Great event for the entire family.
Oct 17-18: Calgary Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival
Join fellow wine and food lovers at the 17th annual Calgary Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival. Sample a wide array of world-class wines, spirits and beer with an assortment of local culinary creations.

Oct 27: The Black Keys
The popular band plays the Saddledome on Oct 27th. Their fall tour celebrates the new album, 'Turn Blue'.

Screamfest
Stroll through eight different haunted houses at Stampede Park, each with a different theme. Open from Oct 3 to Nov 1. Find details here.
