Ahhhh the Beltline - for any Calgary Residents this term probably engages a plethora of memories and sensations, the smell of pizza wafting from Una, picnics in the park at Boxwood, the occasional print your own t-shirt from Rocket, the elegance and inspiration of the Design District.

What is the Beltline?
The Beltline is the term used to describe the area that spans south of Downtown, Bow Trail/9 Ave. all the way to 17th Ave., and East to West from the Elbow River/ Stampede Grounds to 14th Street SW.

The Beltline was voted #2 best neighbourhood to live in Calgary. It ranked #1 for grocery stores, coffee shops, drug stores, restaurants, boutiques and walkability. It ranked #2 for nightlife and library and #4 for access to LRT and transit.
7,000 people live in the Beltline currenly and plans for the area forcast up to 40,000 residents by 2035.
