2015 Football Recap and Awards:

RM Football recently concluded a successful season on and off the field.  From mid-August through the end of November, players participated in the Coaching Boys into Men program through Futures Without Violence and the Montgomery County Domestic Violence Coordinating Council.  Julian Avenilla '16 presented the idea to the coaching staff in the spring, and the CBIM blended perfectly with RM Football's mission statement of "building character and creating young men with integrity through the creation of a successful football program."  At conclusion of the CBIM program, all football players signed the following pledge: "I commit to take a stand against relationship abuse and I believe that violence is neither a solution nor a sign of strength. I understand that by treating everyone with respect, I am a role model to others. By taking this pledge, I publicly denounce violence against women and girls. A world of respect starts today and starts with me."  SGA created a banner on main street for players to sign and publicly take a stand against domestic violence.

On the field, RM Football had its most successful season in quite some time, reaching the playoffs for the first time in 10 years and earning the first home playoff game in the school's history.  If you missed the action, you can check out the highlights on the links below.
