Employee Recognition Ideas

Snail mail - Send a card to the home of an employee to let them know they are appreciated and why.

Social Buzz - Post praise for special achievement on an employee's Facebook page.

Traveling Trophy - Designate a "traveling trophy" that can be awarded to individuals or teams for outstanding achievement. (Make it fun, the sillier the better.)

What Employees Value
More than Money?

Yes, more than money.

Contrary to popular belief, employees value many things more than the amount of money they earn. In fact, if treated fairly, employees will not only work for less, they are happier and more productive.

Why isn't money on the list? Except in the context of their desires, people seldom complain about salary.
