Credit Unions are owned and operated by their membership.  Every member has the right and opportunity to run for a Board or committee position. Want to be involved in the operations and/or decisions of Greater Pittsburgh Federal Credit Union? Want to make a difference in our community? We need members just like you!

The commitment is only about 1 day per month plus occasional events/activities as needed and training will be provided.  We will of course work with your schedule!  (And we are a great group of people to work with, if we must say so ourselves!)

Of course, we realize the biggest influence on anyone's life is his or her parents. So if you want to start your kids on a path to financial strength, participating in Credit Union Youth Month is a good start.

Getting your taxes done last minute? 
Reminder: 1099's and Claiming Interest

Earned interest is only reportable to the IRS if you have received $10.00 or more in interest for the 2015 fiscal year. You will only receive a 1099 form from Greater Pittsburgh FCU if you have earned $10.00 or more in interest.

If you misplace your form, please call the main office at 412.621.6800 and we would be happy to send you a duplicate.
 
Did you know that you can have your tax refund deposited directly to your GPFCU account? 
 
Direct deposit is usually the fastest way to receive your refund from the IRS. Why not save it for a rainy day? 
 
If you do decide to direct deposit your refund to your credit union account, you will need your account number and the following routing number:
