Volunteers Needed

Are you looking for a way to help provide scholarships to Colorado High School Students attending University of Nebraska? Will you please consider volunteering for a watch partner location? We will be working to staff with volunteers specific locations first to ensure resources are used the best way possible.

Please email Rich at Volunteer@Co4NU.com with your availability for games and locations.

2015 / 2016 Co4NU Memberships

The 2015 / 2016 Coloradans for Nebraska membership is available to be ordered in our online store or at one of our watch partner locations that has a volunteer present. Membership runs from July to July.

With Membership you receive discounts at our watch partner locations, member only pricing at Co4NU events, entry in member only drawings, and more.

Where to Watch Games When Traveling

There are chapters of the Nebraska Alumni Association throughout the world. There's a good possibility there may be a chapter or spirit group near your destination away from home so you can enjoy the game at another Sea of Red.

To find watch locations, vist the Nebraska Alumni Site and choose the region you will be traveling too. Chapters always enjoy out of town guests!

And if your travels take you to Cheyenne, WY, or if you live in Cheyenne, Old Chicago at 1734 Meadowland Drive (307-634-3400) would be happy to be your watch location.

Half-Time Prizes and Volunteer Staffed Locations

The game for Saturday, October 10, 2015 has a 1:30 PM kickoff and will be airing on ABC/ESPN. Please join us at one of our watch partner locations, listed below, to enjoy the game with other Huskers. Those locations that have an * (asterisk) by them are known to have volunteers present, as of this email, for this game and will have memberships for sale, Coloradans for Nebraska merchandise, and half-time drawings. Those first five watch partners listed below that don't have an * (asterisk) may still have volunteers but have not been confirmed as of this email.

We are going to try something different with our half time drawings this year. You get to choose what prizes you are interested in winning and can put your drawing ticket in the container for that specific prize.

Board Volunteer at Hawley's Tavern and Grill this week! Half Time Drawing will include a pair of tickets to the Nebraska vs. Northwestern Game as well as other unique prizes. Limited Nebraska Merchandise for sale as well.

Food Drive

The Big Ten Alumni Chapters will be holding a food drive from October 1st through October 17th. Food donated in the Denver Metro area will be donated to The Food Bank of the Rockies and food donated in Colorado Springs will go to Care and Share.

Bring your non perishable food to a watch partner location that is staffed by a volunteer and receive an extra ticket for the half time drawing for each item donated.

Watch Partner Locations for 2015 / 2016 Season

All of the watch partner locations listed below provide a 15% discount on regular priced food and drink to Coloradans for Nebraska members 365 days a year when presented with current Co4NU membership card. Membership runs from July to July. Those that are ** will have volunteers present for this week's Nebraska Football Game. Each location will have the game and sound on in dedicated areas of their establishment whenever possible. Flag Football - B1G Alumni Chapters of Colorado

Sunday, October 25, 2015 at City Park in Denver. Cost is $25 per person. Teams must be co-ed with 3 of the 8 players on the field women.

Each player will receive:

Day worth of football
All equipment, officials and tournament details
A team shirt
Team prizes, including donation to the winner's scholarship fund
An After Party!
and More!

REGISTER ONLINE for 2015 Flag Football Tournament

Join Coloradans for Nebraska on Friday, February 19, 2016, for our annual wine tasting event with James Arthur Vineyards. This event will include heavy hors d'oeuvres paired to each of the four wines by the head chef of Noonan's. Registration and pricing will be available in the near future.

Football Fridays in Lincoln

Begin your Husker weekends this fall with other alumni and fans at Football Fridays! This week, October 9th, Football Friday will be held at the Nebraska Innovation Campus (2021 Transformation Drive, Lincoln). Public tours of this great facility run from 4:00 until 5:30 with the other fun of Football Friday running from 5:00 until 7:00.

Special guests: Wisconsin Athletic Director, Barry Alvarez and Nebraska Athletic Director, Shawn Eichorst
Panelists: Heisman Trophy winner, Johnny Rodgers, Husker Quarterback and sideline reporter Steve Taylor, Lincoln Journal Star reporter Steve Sipple, and ESPN writer Mitch Sherman
