Register to attend Information Sessions for Responsive component funding opportunity
  

To help support Call for Changemaker RFP applicants on their submissions, information sessions will be held in Milwaukee at MCW with simultaneous web-based and teleconference delivery.

The sessions offer applicants the opportunity to further explore the funding opportunity, application process, and expectations of funded awards.

 

In addition, Maureen Busalacchi, owner of Population Health Consulting, will provide a capacity building presentation on what systems, policy and environmental change means and how to start, as well as on lobbying and advocacy - what you can and can't do.

 

Identical sessions will be offered at the Medical College of Wisconsin's Health Research Center, room H4940, on the following dates:

 

Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

 

OR

 

Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

 

Participation in an information session is not required, but is strongly encouraged

HWPP hiring program officer to lead Responsive component 
funding opportunity  

The Responsive component program officer develops and leads engagement strategies and support services to strengthen potential and funded partnerships as they improve health through grassroots policy, environmental or systems change.

Previously funded project team launches new Fostering Futures website to promote trauma-informed care  

 

Earlier this month, statewide collaborative Fostering Futures recognized National Foster Care month by launching a new website. Fostering Futures works to integrate trauma-informed care throughout Wisconsin in order to build brighter futures for children who have experienced trauma early in life.

 

The website includes educational resources and tools related to childhood trauma, resilience and the science of hope. Fostering Futures received HWPP support in 2013
