Survey
| Seeking Your Input
The Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin (AHW) endowment aims to improve the health of the people of Wisconsin through three complementary components:- Healthier Wisconsin Partnership Program,
- Educational Leadership for the Health of the Public, and
- Research for a Healthier Tomorrow.
The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking your input to help inform and shape the AHW 2014-2018 strategic planning process. Your thoughtful responses to the questions in the survey will be woven into the discussion as the AHW Five-Year Plan is developed. We encourage you to share this survey link with your colleagues. A web-based survey is available at:
In addition to the survey, stakeholders can submit suggestions and comments via email at healthierwisconsin@mcw.edu or, on our website at http://www.mcw.edu/ahw/fiveyearplan.htm |
| Anticipated Release Date | HWPP 9th Funding Cycle Request for ProposalsHWPP anticipates releasing its 9th Funding Cycle Request for Proposal (RFP) in mid-February. As in prior funding cycles, HWPP will continue to support Development and Impact projects that address public health improvement through community-academic partnerships. Awards will support innovative projects implemented by Wisconsin partners, in Wisconsin communities, for the benefit of Wisconsin residents.
Successful community - MCW academic partnerships typically form well in advance of the RFP process to collaboratively create the project idea. Resources are available to develop and support community and academic partners to build and maintain successful partnerships. These resources can be found on our Collaboration web page. You may find it helpful to review the last RFP, which is still available in PDF format on our Apply for Funding web page. The principle structure of the RFP will likely be similar to the past; however, the specific forms and attachments will change. Announcement of the release of the next RFP will occur through the HWPP electronic distribution list and our website. If you know others that would like to be added to the HWPP distribution list, please advise them to join the list by completing the subscription link found to the left. |

Tips for a Successful Partnership
IMPACT project proposals will continue to require evidence of an "established" community - MCW academic partnership. DEVELOPMENT project proposals can include an evolving community - MCW academic partnership. If you have not yet developed a partnership and would like to submit a Letter of Intent (LOI), we encourage you to contact potential partners NOW. Because the most common request to HWPP is for faculty partners, we have included a few extra tips for resources found on our Collaboration web page.
