Your Monthly News & Updates - March 2016
Hi All,

Here it is March already and we are rockin' through 2016. Hope that your year is beginning well. Truthfully I'm a bit fried by trying to do too many things at once. Recently I've been exploring the world of freelancers to get some extra work done. Just had a great logo designed for $10. If you haven't tried it check out these three sites.

More Music Theft Alerts

Bjorn over at Shockwave Music is reporting yet more thefts of his music. It seems there is no end to unscrupulous people who will steal other composers music and sell it as their own. Sigh... Robin's Yoga For The Stressed-Out Composer

Wall Dog

Even if you've never taken a yoga class, you have probably heard of one of the most practiced poses, downward facing dog.  This pose is a variation on it that takes the pressure out of the wrists and is easier on the back, but still gives you a great back stretch and hamstring stretch.  Here's how:

Stand a couple of inches from a wall and place your hands flat on the wall at about shoulder level., feet parallel and pointing straight ahead. (Your elbows will be bent.) Now walk your feet backward away from the wall until your arms are straight out in front of you and you are forming an upside-down "L". Let your neck relax with your ears lined up with your biceps gazing straight down at the floor. Resist the wall with your arms, as if you were trying to push the wall away from you.  Take several deep, smooth breaths in this position, widening your sitting bones as you inhale, engaging the belly muscles to protect the low back.  Walk back up to the wall, place your hands on your low back, inhale and roll the shoulders back and in towards your spine, arching your upper back slightly. (Keep the belly muscles engaged.)  Come back to a neutral standing position
