Hi All,
Spring is just around the corner but as I write this a large portion of the country is still suffering with a long, very cold, winter. Reminds me once again why I can never seem to move back to my home state of Connecticut. I've tried a few times but I guess California is too much in my blood!
We'll be coming up soon on a another quarterly payment from BMI in March. Don't know why they have such a screwy schedule where January's payment should be in December and I can only imagine what sort of surprise BMI has in store for us this quarter! |

One guy made a song out of my instrumental track, which is represented in many non-exclusive libraries. He has published this song (as his own) with Indmusic. My buyers started receiving claims to their videos on YouTube. After a long correspondence with Indmusic, they removed the song. Read more...

To Website or not to Website....that is the question.
| This question gets asked a lot and generates a lot of comments. "GaryW" wants to know...
So I wanted to throw this out to all of you. I've been at this for 5 years, and have always had a simple website with bio info. links to libraries, what I do etc. I do not sell tracks through my site. It's more information than anything else. So I am trying to figure out if it is worth the expense to keep it up. Read more... |

Very Simple Blueberry Muffins
I ran across this recipe on Food.com when I was getting ready for company and had nothing to serve with our tea. It had to be quick and it had to be good. Check and Check! They're not overly sweet, which to me is a good thing. Feel free to experiment, of course. Maybe add some vanilla or cinnamon or some sliced almonds? Or? Enjoy!
Ingredients -
1 1/2 cups flour
-
1/2 cup sugar
-
1 teaspoon salt
-
2 teaspoons baking powder

Robin's Yoga For The Stressed-Out Composer

Saucha
by Robin Munson
One of the basic guiding principles of yoga is Saucha. A Sanskrit word, it can be roughly translated as cleanliness. But not just cleanliness of our environment or physical cleanliness, but also cleanliness or purity of the body and mind. (Saucha is one of the Niyamas, which are observances meant to help us to achieve a life of less suffering and ultimately, more joy.) Read more...
