Greetings!

During this busy Christmas season, I would like to wish you and all those whom you choose to spend your valuable time with the happiest and most joyful of Holidays. My Christmas Gift to you will be available on my Website for download within the next week. I have been working on a very special meditation which you will be able to download as my gift to you.

We are so fortunate to live in such a prosperous country and with all of the blessings that we enjoy.

Thank you so much for taking your valuable time to read my newsletter and I sincerely hope you continue to find these newsletters of value. I love hearing from you about what you enjoy and what you would like to see in the future regarding topics which are of interest to you.

We are spending this holiday season close to home. My Mom is being released from the hospital tomorrow and I am so grateful that she is going to be able to be at home for Christmas. Watching the health challenges of parents is not easy and watching Mom struggle with all of the pain and difficulties of the last few years has been difficult. The family is indeed very blessed to still have her physical presence in our life with all she has been through!

I am so grateful to have the wonderful medical system that we have in this country. My Brother (Mac Jr.) was very fortunate and had a Kidney and Pancreas transplant last year just before Christmas. My Niece (Chelzee; Mac's Daughter) had brain surgery last month to help her with her epilepsy. My Dad (Mac Sr.) has been in the hospital many times over the last year for blood transfusions as well as for a surgery in October of this year. In many other countries these life saving surgeries would be beyond imagining and here they are available to everyone, although, My Sister in Law (Betty) has gone to great lengths and had to fight pretty hard to get Chelzee the surgery she needed.

Mac shared with me that a group of people got together on Facebook and raised enough money to buy a new IPad for Chelzee to use as she goes through her recovery so she can keep in touch with her family. Mac and Betty have had a pretty rough couple of years with all the family has been going through with Mac's health challenges and also Chelzee's. Betty has been a marvel with all she does and continues to do for the family and it is wonderful to see the community of friends she has gathered come in to do something so special for Chelzee as she recovers.

We are so very lucky to live in a country where we have the benefit of a very good medical system, lots of clean water, plentiful food and kind and giving people who help out their neighbors and friends on a consistent basis. It was so nice to experience yet another example of the beautiful spirit of people last night. We went to my Granddaughter's Christmas concert at her school and they had a 50/50 draw which went to benefit the food bank. The winner of the draw also donated their winnings to the food bank as well!

We occasionally help a group who donates their time to pack up the left over bread at Cobbs bakery. It is something that I didn't know about Cobbs but they donate all of their left over bread at the end of each day to local needy groups and they have volunteers who come in every day to help pack the bread and deliver it to those who need it. It is such a good feeling to be able to do something that helps others.

I sincerely hope that your Christmas is filled with opportunities to practice both giving and receiving of the bounty of our beautiful world.

May your New Year bring you all that you could hope for yourself as well as some wonderful surprises that are beyond your hopes!

Blessings and Joy!
Beth
