Registration for CalGETS Phase I Training Now Open
The Office of Problem Gambling (OPG) in partnership with UCLA Gambling Studies Program (UGSP) is currently recruiting licensed therapists to participate in the California Gambling Education and Treatment Services (CalGETS).
This program will create a treatment provider network with state funded treatment for problem gamblers and their families.

CalGETS training will be held at the Ontario Area August 6-8, 2014
CalGETS training and registration is FREE and will consist of one 7.5 hour online training course and three on-site 7.5 hour training days, providing the opportunity to obtain up to 30 Continuing Education Units (CE units). Although the training is at no cost, Participants will be responsible for all travel and accommodation expenses. After completion of training, a therapist who meets criteria to become an authorized provider will be eligible to receive fee for service reimbursement from the state.

- Submit CalGETS Training Registration form to the UGSP address listed:

- Once the application is reviewed and approved , applicants will receive instructions for completing the online training course. NOTE: Online training courses/quizzes must be completed to qualify to attend the three day classroom training.
This is the last scheduled Phase I training for 2014. Please be aware there is limited space for this training, sign up soon before classes fill up. The 2015 Phase I Training will be held in Northern California during the fall season.
