Mars Hill Mission Experience
During worship on Sun., July 6, we commissioned the thirty-three members who are traveling to North Carolina on July 13 for the mission experience in Mars Hill. Please keep the team in prayer as they assist families with housing needs throughout the week.

The Antonsons Arrive at Shadyside
On Sun., July 6, we welcomed the Reverend Dr. David B. Antonson as our new Interim Pastor, along with his wife Judy. Dr. Antonson is an honorably retired teaching elder and minister of word and sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (USA) who specializes in interim ministry. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, and Columbia and McCormick Seminaries, he spent more than forty years in parish ministry before his retirement in 2006. Since that time, he has served as interim pastor to three congregations in the Pittsburgh Presbytery. A full biography of Dr. Antonson is available on the church website.
We are grateful to God for sending Dr. Antonson to walk alongside us during this time and to help prepare our congregation for our next senior pastor.

Introducing SPC Social Meetup
Sponsored by Shadyside Presbyterian Church's Parish Life Ministry, Social Meetup is a fellowship-oriented program which invites our members and friends to gather off-campus for a number of fun local events. Everyone is welcome to participate: single, divorced, widowed, or married; young, old, or in between; those who are new to the area, and those who have lived in Pittsburgh for years. Events will vary from month to month, and most will be free or almost free.
Read more on the church website and view the specific events offered during the next several months. Friends without access to computers may look for the display in the Sharp Atrium. We hope you will join us this summer.
