2013 Flyin' Hawaiian All-Stars
 This season, our Flyin' Hawaiian All-Stars program provided a special opportunity for close to 150 children in Boston!
Groups from the Jr. RBI League, Boston Children's Hospital, Boy Scouts' ScoutReach, Best Buddies MA, Boys & Girls Club of Boston and the Maui Upcountry Baseball Club have joined us for a game, received concessions and program T-shirts, but the best part of their day was meeting Shane during batting practice. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for many of the youth and definitely a day they will always remember!
SVF Tuition Assistance Fund
In June, the first recipients of the Shane Victorino Foundation Scholarship at St. Anthony School (Shane's alma mater) were awarded. SVF established the fund to provide tuition assistance to student-athletes at the school who display sportsmanship, dedication and commitment to achieving academic as well as athletic excellence, maintaining a GPA of 3.0.

Donor Spotlight - Kampus Klothes
Kampus Klothes has generously provided the t-shirts for our Flyin' Hawaiian All-Stars program, as well as all the embroidery for our fundraising events, over the past few years. The support of in-kind donors like Kampus Klothes is essential to our success! They help us to keep our expenses down, while allowing us to direct more resources to children in need. We thank them for all that they do!

On Saturday, November 23, 2013 we will celebrate our 6th annual Celebrity Dinner & Golf Classic at the beautiful Wailea Golf Club and luxurious Four Seasons Resort Maui! Shane, Melissa, MLB athletes and other celebs will tee it up to benefit children in need. Sponsorship packages are still available - click here for details!

Biddin' for Bottles
A BIG thanks to Leadership Henderson and Grape Expectations for selecting SVF as a beneficiary of their annual "Biddin' for Bottles" fundraiser on June 29, 2013. The event raised $4,000 for the Foundation, creating more opportunities for the children we serve!

As we enter fall, we're excited to share what we've been up to this summer. We are so thankful for the warm welcome we received in Boston and are grateful to be a part of such an amazing team! We also feel incredibly blessed by the support and well wishes we continue to receive from those of you in Philadelphia, Nevada, Hawaii and across the country.
