TriLaVie Triathlon Training Starts This Week

Here comes triathlon season!  Join us for our first crowd-favorite training - INDOOR CYCLING!  Safe, challenging, sport-specific and FUN!

Wednesday: Indoor Cycling at Shape-Up Fitness in Newport Beach.  Classes at 10am, 5:30pm and 6:30pm

Saturday: Triathlon Basics for Women, Northwood High School, 7:30-9:30am

Saturday: 
Spring Trail Running from 7-9am, March - May, $49 for 3 months!

Monday:  Swim Basics Clinics on Mondays from 7-8pm.  Co-ed, $15, great swim foundation class.

Ongoing:  Group Swim for Triathlon Training, 7 sessions weekly. 6am, 10am, 7pm RAIN or SHINE!

TriLaVie Basics: Introduction to Triathlon for Women - All Fitness Levels

This 4-week course is a combination of lecture and training to set the perfect foundation for successful triathlon racing.  All fitness levels benefit from focus on the skills of swim, bike and run with additional information on equipment, race preparation, fueling and nutrition, strength, stretch, self care.  More than 15  hours of training and weekly training plans are included.  Each athlete enjoys unlimited e-mails and communication with coaches.

Swim Basics Clinics - Mondays 7-8pm - $15
Swim Lessons
Swim Velocity professional coaches present the basics of swimming for triathlon preparation. 
Skills reviewed will include breathing, body position and proper pulling.
The clinic combines a short lecture with swim practice in the pool.
 
 $15 per clinic, Co-ed, adults only

Mondays, 7-8pm
Nellie Gail Ranch Laguna Hills

Coached, group swims focused on freestyle for triathlon preparation.
Provides skills, speed and endurance.  Each session includes attention to building good form, getting stronger and going longer.  Dryland option to improve strength and power.

TriLaVie is a women's triathlon team in Orange County, CA with more than 115 members of all athletic abilities training for various triathlon races throughout the year. Most women join the team with no triathlon experience and very little training in swim, bike or run. Together with the coaches and local partners, the women gain the skills, strength and endurance to compete successfully at all levels of triathlon. TriLaVie is more than just an athletic team. TriLaVie provides an avenue to enrich women's lives by promoting health, lifestyle balance and connection to family, friends and community. Completing a triathlon is the icing-on-the-cake of a life-changing journey!
