Project Stream Grant Announcement

It's grant application time! The Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Project Stream Grant Application is now open in eGrant.

Here are all the details that you need to know in order to apply.

Who is eligible to apply?

Applicants eligible for Project Stream grant funds are organizations that have applied in the past and organizations that are not funded by other PA Council on the Arts funding streams. 

Applicants who apply for funds in Program Stream, AOAP, or Entry Track are not eligible for Project Stream funds.

Project Stream  
Application Information

The Pennsylvania Rural Arts Alliance announces the availability of grant funds through the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA) Project Stream.  This funding stream offers opportunities for arts organizations, community-based groups and individual artists to apply for up to $2,500 in funding to support performance activities, exhibitions, and other arts projects that are presented to the public. Funded events must take place between September 1, 2015 and August 31, 2016.
 
The deadline for grant submission is 
June 22, 2015.


 

Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA) is a partnership between local organizations and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts (PCA), a state agency. A total of 13 local organizations administer PPA and serve all 67 counties in Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Rural Arts Alliance is the partner organization in Southwestern PA, serving the counties of Armstrong, Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Indiana, Somerset and Westmoreland.  State government funding for the arts comes through an annual appropriation by the Pennsylvania General Assembly and from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.

 

The application process involves completion of the application form on line at the PA Council on the Arts website. The application can be found at http://ppa.egrant.net . Organizations that completed an application last year should use the same login and password as last year. All new applicants who have never used this site before should create an identity by following the instructions shown on the site. Grant workshops will take place before the grant deadline. It is advisable that applicants attend a grant workshop. The schedule will be available shortly.


Grant and Report Deadlines
 
The submission deadline for the Project Stream grant application is June 22, 2015.


The submission deadline for final reports for Project Stream for the 2014-15 year is 
September 30, 2015. 
 
Reports must be completed on line at the PCA's eGrant website. After submitting on line, the reports should be printed and signed. In addition to on line submission the signed reports should be mailed to the PRAA Office.
