ARTS CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE OPPORTUNITY ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pennsylvania Rural Arts Alliance announces a conference opportunity
for organizations that present performing arts.
PA Presenters will hold its annual spring conference at Indiana University of Pennsylvania on June 5, 6, and 7, 2013. Members of the PA Rural Arts Alliance are invited to attend this conference. Single day or full conference rates are available. Complete conference information can be found at IUP PA Presenters. This conference is a great opportunity for PRAA member organizations to meet other presenters, network with colleagues, and see a wide assortment of artists in a showcase setting.
Scholarship Funds Available: PRAA members wishing to attend this conference can apply for scholarship funds to assist with the cost of registration. A total of $100 per organization is available. Please look at the conference schedule that is listed on the IUP website listed above. If you would like to attend one or more days of the conference and wish to apply for scholarship funds please contact Becky Catelinet, PRAA Executive Director, at praa@francis.edu to request a scholarship before you register for the conference. Scholarship funding is extremely limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
After receiving approval for scholarship funding, go to the conference website listed above, click on the "Online Registration Now Available" link on the Registration and Lodging page. Click on the link that says "Download Registration Form to pay by check here", print and complete the paper form and mail it to the PA Presenters address listed. Scholarship funds will be paid by PRAA as a reimbursement after the conference is concluded. You will receive a short form to complete and return to the PRAA office in order to be reimbursed.
