Hey Folks!

If you remember last weeks newsletter, we were talking about the 6 primitive reflexes that must be integrated in order to learn. This week we are talking about the most important of the 6 primitive reflexes, the moro reflex, and giving you a link to the video of the exercise at the end of the article. Please read the article and click the link to find out. If you find that you would like to try to integrate all the primitive reflexes, we have our best selling product, Maintaining Brains Everyday on sale this month. Click here to find out more.

If you have already tried our primitive reflex exercises, I would love to hear your story. Please send me an email with your story and with your consent we will publish them on our testimonial page of our website. If you would like to hear what people have said, take a look at the page yourself.

The Moro Reflex - The Silver Bullet?

If you have heard me speak, you have probably heard me say that there is no silver bullet. Even integrating the Moro Reflex is not the silver bullet, but WOW it can help so much!! Take a look at the symptoms of a retained Moro Reflex (meaning that this reflex is still present all the time in the body after 4 months of age).

  • Car sickness or poor balance and coordination
  • Poor stamina
  • Doesn't maintain eye contact
  • Sensitive to light
  • Sensitive to sound
  • Allergies
  • Adverse reaction to drugs
  • Hypoglycemia - reaction to sugar
  • Dislike of change
  • Anxiety or nervousness
  • Mood swings
  • Poor math sense

Having at least two of the symptoms present means that the moro reflex is probably responsible. How can I be so sure? Because the reflex emerges pre-natally, and if the symptoms have always been there, then it is probably the cause. What about times when the anxiety came later? Well, trauma can cause the moro to re-emerge, so check for that.

Notice how many of an infant's systems are matured during this stage of development:

  • Vestibular/sense of balance
  • Visual
  • Auditory
  • Immune (allergies)
  • Digestive (hypoglycemia)
  • Nervous

If the baby did not fully complete this stage of development, his or her body is quite immature!

Sensitivity to sound is one form of ADD - when a person cannot pay attention when there are other sounds that are distracting. One of the most frequent improvements as commented by people who have integrated their reflexes with me is how much better they can focus.

Some signs of Autism are included in this list: doesn't maintain eye contact, hypersensitivity and anxiety. Most of the children that were on the Autism spectrum had extremely positive benefits after integrating only the Moro reflex, including becoming more social. I think it is one of the pieces of the Autism puzzle.

Think about how many people have stress, anxiety or nervousness - one of my mentors said that if there is anxiety, the moro reflex is present, because it IS the fight or flight response. The adults who are going through the Brain Advancement Coach Training say that they are calmer within the first two weeks!

When one of my children integrated the Moro, allergies were considerably less severe. When I integrated my Moro a few years ago, my hypoglycemia disappeared.

Many parents and students of mine have understood math better once the Moro integrated. I think that this must affect the part of the brain that deals with logic and reasoning. A school in Twin Lakes Wisconsin had a child go up 5 years (age equivalent) in logic skills after just 6 weeks of brain training that included the Moro Reflex. The other training was for processing speed and working memory. A 6th grade student of mine went from not being able to count objects to being able to apply subtraction in a real life situation in 4 weeks. I might be a good teacher, but not that good!! It wasn't me - it was Moro.

So, it sure sounds like this is the silver bullet! But it is not. I have had a strange case where the symptoms were present, but the reflex wasn't. Perhaps it never emerged, so therefore there was nothing to integrate. Not all people integrate it due to other issues, like dietary problems or daily trauma (like living in violence).

Also, integrating the Moro reflex does not guarantee success in life, as there are many more reflexes that may have to be considered. 5 more reflexes will be addressed in the next 5 weeks. For a video showing the reflex integration exercises, purchase Maintaining Brains Everyday, which is on sale this month. Good Luck!

Tell Me Your Story

I am collecting stories about the effectiveness of primitive reflex integration, no matter what the process is or what method was used. Will you help? Please provide the following in your own words and in story form. Please keep it to about 2 paragraphs.

  • Diagnosis or issue
  • Changes found
  • Methodology
  • What reflexes were integrated
  • Other therapies that were used concurrently
  • Minimally their initials and location (state or country)

I will be putting these together in a free ebook organized by issue, so that people all over the world will have hope for themselves or loved ones. By sharing this everywhere, more people will get help. This is not to promote Pyramid of Potential, but instead to promote primitive reflexes. I want to collect hundreds!!

Thank you so much! Kathy

The Moro Reflex
The Moro Reflex
Kathy Johnson of Pyramid of Potential describes the moro reflex, typically found in infants before 4 months old. She then lists symptoms of a retained moro reflex - what can occur if a person does not integrate it normally.
