Chesterbrook Book Fair

bookfair 4 fall 2012

Fall Book Fair Starts This Week!

The Fall Book Fair will be Nov 6th - Nov. 13th. There will be hundreds of books for all ages covering all genres and will include classics, favorite series, award winners and new releases. As well as a wide assortment of games and other items. It's the perfect place to do some holiday shopping!

Students will complete wish lists during class which will include each book's cost (there's no tax) so parents can send their child in with a check payable to Chesterbrook PTA. The children can also come any time during the school hours to shop for books on their own or they can come by with a parent.

Thanksgiving Lunch

Save the date for CES's Thanksgiving Lunch on Nov 11th. This is a great tradition where family and friends join their child for a traditional turkey lunch at school.

It is a fun way to connect with old friends and make some new ones!

Many hands are needed to make this special event possible. The cafeteria staff make all the food, but need help serving.

We Want Candy!

Don't want to have the extra Halloween candy laying around the house? You're in Luck! The Fun Fair Committee is accepting left over Halloween candy Nov 2nd - Nov 13th!  The candy will be used for prizes at the Fun Fair.

Any leftover/unwanted candy can be dropped off in the bins at the main office.

For additional information please contact Jennifer or Hope here.

Clear the Bookshelves

Do you have any books your children are no longer using? The PTA is looking for book donations for our K-3rd grade classes. All genres (as long as they are age appropriate) are welcome and appreciated!

A donation bin will be placed at the end of the First Grade hallway, beginning Oct. 26th.
