Dear Parents:
What a great start to the school year! With October well underway, we'd like to pause and thank you for your support of the PTA this year. Thank you to all the families who have already renewed their memberships/joined the PTA. Thank you to all who supported Fall at Chesterbrook, proving that fall fun can be had no matter what Mother Nature has in store. And thank you to those families who have already supported our armchair fundraiser by becoming Friends of Chesterbrook. There are many ways and opportunities to support our school community and the Chipmunk Courier will keep you current all year long. We hope to see many of you this Wednesday at the October PTA meeting and Principal's Coffee. Not only will you have Q&A time with Principal Fuqua, you'll also hear from school-based technology specialist Russ Brown about our school's use of technology and how it impacts your child's day. Finally, round out your day by enjoying lunch or dinner at Pie-Tanza and supporting our school. It's a great Chesterbrook Two-Fer! With gratitude, Wendy Cumberland

Book Fair Volunteers Needed
The FALL 2015 Chesterbrook Elementary School Book Fair is scheduled for Friday, November 6 - Friday, November 13, 2015! This very important PTA fundraiser supports Chesterbook ES technology enhancements and our school library. We need your help! See below for a link to the Book Fair Sign Up Genius. Volunteer shifts are usually 60 or 90 minutes in length - please sign up for consecutive shifts if you can! We will have two evening events-- one on Monday, Nov. 9 (Pajama Night) and another on Thursday, Nov. 12 (Raffle and Pizza Night). Have an older child looking for service hours? We welcome middle school volunteers to help out with the evening events (11/9 or 11/12) and pack-up (11/13). Thank you!
