Cold Weather Clothes Donations

Throughout October, the SCA will be collecting new or gently used winter clothing for both adults and children to benefit the Salvation Army.

Coats, hats, scarves, gloves and other cold weather items can be dropped off in Mrs. Pike's or Mrs. Reid's classrooms (Rm 206 or 208)


Restaurant Night is Back at Pie-Tanza!

Take the day off from cooking and support Chesterbrook!  

On Oct. 21st and Oct. 22nd (all day)  Pie-Tanza  will donate a portion of your check back to our school. 

It's easy to participate; Show this flyer or mention to your server that you are there to support Chesterbrook.

Roald Dahl Double Feature

George C Marshall's drama department will be performing "The Twits" and "Danny, Champion of the World"  Oct. 17th-24th. (sneak preview on Oct. 15th)

Tickets are $10 for general admission, $5 for teachers, students and seniors.

 Diary of a Wimpy Kid Pre-Orders

If you are a Diary of a Wimpy Kid Fan, don't forget to pre-order "Diary of a Wimpy Kid -Old School - Vol. 10"

The latest edition will be released on Tuesday, November 3rd -- just in time for the Chesterbrook Book Fair which runs  November 6th through 13th!

Math Olympiads Registration

Registration for Math Olympiads is now open! This is a worldwide program for enthusiastic math students to further enhance and build on their interest in math.  

Teams will meet on Wednesdays at 7:45am from October 14 - March 16. Math Olympiads is open to 4th, 5th, and 6th graders.

Library Volunteers Needed

Chesterbrook's new librarian, Meredith Reid, needs 2 volunteers each day to re-shelve books and media materials-- one morning and one afternoon shift.  This is a great opportunity to help the school and usually only takes about 30-45 minutes.  

Training for new volunteers will be October 16 at 11:30 am.

Chesterbrook is seeking donations of old iPhones, iTouches, camcorders, tripods and 2MI compatible TVs. 

If you have items that you are no longer using, please consider donating them to Chesterbrook!
