Looking for something for your students to do after school this Fall? There are a few after school classes still available:
  • GOTR - Girls on the Run

PTA Meeting

Join us at the nest PTA meeting to learn what the PTA is up to this year and meet the PTA committee members.

School Directory

We're continuing to work on and update the School Directory. You should have received a "verification" email. Please follow the directions outlined in the email to update your family information by Wednesday, Sept. 30th.

If you are new to the school, or did not receive a verification email, please contact directory@chesterbrookpta.org.

Fall @ Chesterbrook

If you ordered pumpkins and other fall goodies, don't forget to pick them up on Oct. 4th 2-4 p.m.

This is a fun outdoor activity for the entire family.

To make this event a success, volunteers are needed for set up, loading pumpkins in cars, assisting with craft projects etc.

Newsroom Donations Needed

The staff is hard at work updating the Chesterbrook Newsroom and is actively seeking donations. They are looking for the following items:
  • 2-3 camcorders that have AV out, composite video out, or HDMI out;
  • A tripod that allows 180 rotation;
  • 2 MI compatible TV's. The TV's can be small.

Equipment does not need to be new. Any donations are greatly appreciated!

Meet the Candidates

The League of Women Voters, with the Fairfax County Council PTA, is sponsoring candidate forums to meet and greet the candidates for the Dranesville District School Board and the Dranesville District Supervisor, as well as At-Large School Board Candidates and the Board of Supervisors Chairman Candidates. All certified candidates campaigning for office in their respective districts have been invited. A question-and-answer session will allow interaction with the candidates.
